This Video should have been done months ago -- but constantly putting it on the back burner, getting impossibly busy for long stretches of time, and downright laziness at times stretched this project out.
Finally being able to look back at footage that I shot months ago is refreshing in an interesting way, in that so much time has elapsed since the shoot day, that I can approach the post production without (almost) any preconceived notions about how the video "needs" to be. I kind of let the footage tell its own story. It's a nice change of pace.
Please check out Yoga Loft Hawaii if you ever get the urge to take a Yoga class. These people are my good friends, but I can say with absolute certainty and biased aside that Lisa (studio director) is as compassionate and helpful a human being as I've encountered. While I am by no means a yoga expert, I'd imagine that translates to being an effective yoga teacher/instructor.
Enjoy
Impromptu photoshoots tend to provide a very mixed bag in terms of results. Sometimes even coming away with just one good photo legitimizes all the hard work put forth by photographer and model alike. Good lighting, awesome colors, natural contrast? We'll take our chances.
Photo Highlights of Jennifer + Kate's wedding ceremony on the always beautiful leeward side of Oahu. It got dark relatively fast, but we were able to get some amazing shots in the fading light.

Some photos from the event coverage we provided for HIFF at the IBM Building down off of Ward Avenue a couple of weeks ago.
That area has a lot going on and it has cleaned up a ton since I've been living on Oahu. I just never really venture down that way too often. Regardless, the event was great. Beautiful story, music, and it was evident that the creators of this story had a deep personal involvement with this project. All smiles for the kids and everyone that made it out.
That building, by the way, is unbelievably beautiful. I would love to shoot some more in the area where they held the screening. It's a perfect gathering place for any sort of event, function, anything. It's just so picturesque that time of day. Fingers crossed for another gig at some point down there.
